With open hearts, open minds, and open doors, our Prayer ministry Team is made up of men and women with a commitment and a passion to pray for the needs of others through our Prayer Meeting and Visitation Ministry, Nursing Home Visitation Ministry, and Prayer Line Ministry. We pray because Jesus prayed, and so, as he did, we talk intimately with our Father to develop a relationship with and trust that God answers. We pray for general concerns of our community, our country, our world, our military, etc. Also, we pray intercessory prayers for our church family, friends, visitors, those in need financially, physically, spiritually, and emotionally. Our goals are to continue to pray for each other, for our pastor, to become more of a praying church, and to deepen our relationship with Christ.
We have an active prayer line ministry on Thursday nights at 7pm with many people in our church who have made a commitment to pray for anyone needing or requesting prayer. How It Works: If you have a prayer request, please submit through E-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or via this website, and the named individual(s) will be added to our prayer list.
The Prayer Group shares in a daily devotion and lifts in prayers the joys and concerns of the church, the community and the world. Meets on Saturdays at 11:00 AM
Not only do our pastors make visits to our church family, but we have an active group of caregivers — members and attenders of our congregation — who are also actively involved in visitation whether at home, nursing homes, hospitals, etc. We believe that God calls us to care for those in need — in our church and in our local community. Every 4th Saturday the Prayer Visitation Team fulfills a prayer request. Prayer request box is located in the Sanctuary and in the Fellowship Hall.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7
