Rev. Kay Dubuisson

Senior Pastor

Rev. Kay, born and raised in the Caribbean Island of Haiti, is a graduate of Southern Illinois University and Burlington County College where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Adult Education and Human Services. She received her Masters of Divinity in 2012 from Palmer Theological Seminary. An ordained Elder in the Greater New Jersey Annual Conference (GNJAC), Rev. Kay currently serves as the pastor of the United Methodist Church of Spring Valley (UMCSV) and chair of the Committee on Ethnic Local Church Concerns at conference level. Prior coming to UMCSV, she served as the pastor of Chambers UMC and Riverside UMC, and the secretary of Black Methodists for Church Renewal, Inc (BMCR) in the GNJAC.

 Rev. Kay brings a heart for Community Outreach, Christian Education, Spiritual Formation, and Pastoral Care to her ministry. She has a passion for sharing God’s love through meaningful relationships and experiences. As a former Nurse and Social Worker, she loves to talk, meet, walk alongside of, and fellowship with people from all walks of life. Her personal ministry is to “know and serve God faithfully and help others to do likewise.”

Rev. Kay and her husband, Edvard, has four children. She enjoys reading, travelling, listening to music and spending time with family.
